The Progressive Democrats of Delaware have a process of evaluation for candidates at all levels of public office in Delaware. The process includes both a written questionnaire and a personal interview before a candidate is given the group endorsement. This year Jack Markell is endorsed for Governor and Matt Denn is endorsed for Lieutenant Governor among others.
Tonight the group announced my endorsement as a candidate for US Congress. This is a powerful recommendation coming from the most progressive group of Democrats in the state. The endorsement brings a new level of support to the campaign for which I am grateful.
The announcement was made at a gathering of the group in a member's home. Food, drink, and political conversation were shared by one and all as we enjoyed each other's company. Politics is lots of work but the fun times are also part of the package. Today was a combination of both.
The work of the campaign continues day by day as all of us continue to work to insure a victory both in September and in November. The road is long and arduous but the goal is a worthy one which must be pursued if we are to turn our nation around.
Peace.

The process of endorsement in Delaware politics is an interesting one. The endorsement tonight was a real honor for me. Now the work of holding to the standards and expectations of PDD continues day by day. There is much hard work to be done before this campaign ends.
Peace.
This is a big endorsement. The PDD consists of some of the best minds in Delaware.
Thanks, kavips.
I am honored by and grateful for the endorsement. Now on to win this Primary race. The going will be tough, but when the going gets tough the tough get going.
Peace.
